Good Practice Guide to Interpreting (Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, Somali)

This guide was produced to raise awareness of why interpreting is important and how to use an interpreting service correctly in health setting. It sets out good practice for medical professionals and users, for example not to use children as interprets. The series of guides in community languages is collaborative effort of: Al-Hasaniya Moroccan Women’s Centre; BME Health Forum; Chinese National Healthy Living Centre; Midaye Somali Development Network; Migrant and Refugee Communities Forum; Queens Park Bangladeshi Association and WSPM Agape Community Project.
