EVENT: Women In Transition [March 30]

[h4]Migrant and Refugee Communities Forum (MRCF) invites you to an event to mark the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day by:[/h4]

 

  • Recognising and celebrating the leadership of refugee and migrant women in the integration of their communities in London
  • Planning how we can work together to support refugee and migrant women and their communities at a time of public cuts

 

Wednesday 30th March from 2:00-4.30pm (lunch from 1.30pm)

Our speakers are:

Waris Mohamoud – Founder of Midaye Somali Development Network

Barbara Nalumu – Citizens for Sanctuary Organiser and Ugandan Community Leader

Souad Talsi MBE – Founder of Al Hasaniya Moroccan Women’s Centre

Daisy Sands – Policy and Campaigns Officer the Fawcett Society

Yasmin Rehman – Consultant and trainer on violence against women
