We did it! On Monday 21 May, Migrants Organise staff, volunteers, members and supporters traversed 10km across the capital as part of the London Legal Walk.
Starting off in the heart of London’s legal district, and passing by key London landmarks including the River Thames, Buckingham Palace, and Hyde Park, we managed to raise over £7,000 in sponsorship – making us the third highest, non-legal fundraiser participating in the event. These donations will go directly and in full to our Community Programme, which provides holistic support to vulnerable migrants and refugees, helping them to adapt and integrate well into their new communities.
We are grateful for all the generous donations that we have received to date – but still hope to reach our £15,000 fundraising target.
