This is the November 2009 issue of The Forum newsletter. In this issue we discuss the constant discourse of immigration and its effect that currently occupying the dialogue of the media. Concerns over welfare state and the numbers of asylums in the UK are relevant today in relation to the current economic climate. We examine figures of asylum in the UK and The Forum’s annual achievement meeting of community migrants projects.
