Discussion: Why Bother About Refugee Week ?
Monday, 17th June 1-2pm, St Paul’s Cathedral Crypt, London
Why Bother About Refugee Week ? We’ll be joining the panel for an exploration of the various issues facing refugees when seeking asylum and settling in the UK, and how campaigning can be effective in helping to tackle them.
The talk will coincide with the display of Kate Daudy’s large scale installation ‘Am I my Brother’s Keeper?’ in the cathedral.
Monday 17th June, London Legal Walk, 5pm Holborn Station
Join Migrants Organise to walk 10k across London to raise vital money to our frontline services.
The Migrants Organise team will meet up at 5pm at Holborn Station, on the 17th to join thousands of participants of the London Legal Walk Support Trust walking together. If you are able to walk with us please register so that we know that you will be joining us and that we can bring a t-shirt for you.

Tuesday 18th June; Doors open at 6.30pm, film starts at 7pm.
Ciné Lumière, French Institute, South Kensington and tickets are £10-£12.
The screening is organised by Kensington and Chelsea Refugees Welcome Committee, a group of local residents united by a shared sense of humanitarianism and a desire to make our communities more welcoming for refugees. The film will be followed by a panel discussion, including Migrants Organise CEO Zrinka Bralo and allies from Asylum Matters, Lift the Ban as well as local activities and refugee networks.
The evening will be an opportunity to raise awareness of our housing campaign- to find housing to resettle more refugees. Find out here how you can rent properties to refugees.

Join Sponsor Refugees and the community sponsorship network to advocate to resettle more refugees to the UK.

The story of artist Hassan Fazili fleeing the Taliban with his family for Europe.
